KEEGO at the 24-hour bike challenge for Light into Darkness

In addition to the permanent pursuit of optimal hydration for our KEEGO pioneers, we see it as our duty to support our Ambassadors and meaningful projects.

Thanks to Licht ins Dunkel, around 5,000 families a year are supported quickly and unbureaucratically in situations of undue hardship. The focus is on supporting people with disabilities and psychosocially disadvantaged families with children.

Just like Licht ins Dunkel, we want to help make the world a little bit better. Sip for sip & pedal stroke for pedal stroke. Therefore, it was clear to us that we will support this year's 24-hour bike challenge for Licht ins Dunkel with perfect hydration.

The objective was clearly defined: To raise as much money as possible for a good cause. Every kilometer cycled was converted into 10 euros for Light in the Darkness. At the preliminary rounds in all 9 Austrian provinces and at the grand finale in the Plus City in Linz, so incredible 9,124 km together.

The donation amount of € 91,124 collected in this way was multiplied and rounded up several times by the campaign's loyal partners. During the Licht ins Dunkel Gala, all donations collected during this campaign resulted in a brilliant final amount of € 450.000,-.

KEEGO ensures optimum hydration

We are pleased that we were able to equip and support top athletes and celebrities around 8-time kickboxing world champion and KEEGO ambassador Nicole Trimmel as part of the Challenge. Among others, double Olympic champion Michaela Dorfmeister, 69-time ex-ÖFB captain Andreas Ivanschitz, paraclimbing world champion Angelino Zeller and para-swimming world champion Sabine Weber-Treiber got the additional freshness kick.

Supporting such a number of exceptional athletes makes us proud.
Especially when they can use the acquired water power for such a meaningful project.
