The Vienna City Marathon 2023 was a complete success, characterized by positive vibes, experiences and encounters.
As a partner, KEEGO was there with its own sustainable VCM Limited Edition of the water bottle, which already attracted great interest at the Vienna Sports World, Austria's largest sports fair, in the run-up to the marathon.
Together with the Early Birds, Austria's most active sports and running group, a support team spontaneously formed to support the runners at three stations during the marathon, providing them with fluids and pushing them to the finish line. The support crew was equipped with more than 40 motivational signs, which they had created together in the "sign factory" at the KEEGO office before the marathon.
Many participants raved about the unique support that pushed them to the finish line and shared their impressions on social media.
For example, Daniela from Würzburg said enthusiastically:
"I have never experienced such a brilliant atmosphere and I have competed in marathons all over Europe. The shower just before the finish line improved my time by quite a bit!"
Also Yosef from Tel Aviv was impressed by the support and hospitality of the Viennese: "I read that Vienna is the most livable city, but I didn't expect the people to be so helpful and cheer so enthusiastically. I'll be back in 2024."
