In addition to constantly striving for optimal hydration for our KEEGO pioneers, we see it as our mission to support our ambassadors and meaningful projects.
Thanks to Licht ins Dunkel, around 5,000 families in unforeseen emergencies receive quick and unbureaucratic support every year. The focus is on supporting people with disabilities and psychosocially disadvantaged families with children.
Just as we want to bring light into the darkness, we want to help make the world a little better. Sip by sip & pedal stroke by pedal stroke. It was therefore clear to us that we would support this year's 24-hour cycling challenge for Licht ins Dunkel with perfect hydration.
The goal was clearly defined: to raise as much money as possible for a good cause. Every kilometer cycled was converted into 10 euros for Licht ins Dunkel. At the preliminary rounds in all 9 Austrian federal states and at the grand finale in the Plus City in Linz, there were an incredible 9,124 km together.
The amount of donations collected of € 91,124 was multiplied and rounded up several times by the loyal partners of the campaign. As part of the Light into Darkness Gala, a brilliant final amount of € 450,000 could be handed over thanks to all the donations collected as part of this campaign.
KEEGO ensures optimal hydration
We are delighted that we were able to equip and support top athletes and celebrities around the 8-time kickboxing world champion and KEEGO ambassador Nicole Trimmel as part of the challenge. The two-time Olympic champion Michaela Dorfmeister, the 69-time ex-ÖFB captain Andreas Ivanschitz, Paraclimbing World Champion Angelino Zeller and Para Swimming World Champion Sabine Weber-Treiber were among those who got an extra boost of freshness.
We are proud to support such a number of exceptional athletes.
Especially when they can use the hydropower they have gained for such a meaningful project.
